Matar Rice Peas Pulao

Ingredients:

 1 cup basmati rice

 1 cup green beans

 1 large onion, cut into thin slices

 2 tablespoons ghee or oil

 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

 45 green cardamom pods

 2 inch cinnamon stick

 as per taste salt

 Water for Soaking and Cooking

 Instructions:

1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 30 minutes.

2. Heat ghee or oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, cardamom pods and cinnamon stick. Sauté until the smell of the spices disappears.

3. Add onion slices and cook until golden brown.
